Weekend Seminars

The Psychology Department offers one credit seminars on various topics which meet on the weekends and can be applied toward graduation credits. The seminars meet on a Friday night from 5:00 to 9:00 pm and on a Saturday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm and are offered in the summer and fall terms only. They are graded Satisfactory/Unsatisfactory and are used as free electives. You may select three different topics to equate to one course and may use this option once in your degree program. You can take the three separate seminars over any period of time and do not have to take them all in one semester or summer.

Sample Topics Include:
Memory Improvement Time Management Stress Management
Career Development Interpersonal Communication Enhancing One's Mental Health
Managing Change Motivation Leadership

In the Master Schedule for Fall, look for these listed in the Undergraduate Evening Courses section under Psychology, PSY 3005. In the Summer Sessions catalog, look for them under the Psychology listings, PSY 3005.
